Max Niedermeier

Max has worked across a number of strategic and technical roles – including working with stakeholders to identify target-state technology strategy, capability and roadmaps; process modelling; business requirements gathering and strategic alignment; data warehousing requirements; and organisation re-design. In addition, he has provided his services and expertise in various industries and sectors such as: Science, Health, Legal, Education, and Infrastructure.

• Led the development of a first-pass business case for upgrading enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions and priority technologies for a commonwealth corporate entity, which resulted in endorsement and benefits to support the management of research and science.
• Conducted a review of a government regulator's current state architecture, completed extensive business engagement, and developed a target state business architecture and roadmap that provided the regulator with next steps and implementation support.
• Helped a not-for-profit organisation define their technology-enabled strategy by conducting a series of interviews with senior stakeholders, developing an understanding of the current state, defining the target state vision, and providing a list of technology initiatives to enable the organisation to transition to their new vision.
• Led an engagement with a commonwealth corporate entity to review its enterprise services, simplify, consolidate, and better support its customers, while driving significant cultural and process change through the use of new technology. This work included evaluation of key products, transition approach options, and development of a roadmap and costs to complete the transition.
• Led an engagement with a commonwealth corporate entity to deliver options for progressing the target state design of their technology operations and the applications group's way of working, in support of positioning the group to better meet the demands of business users and flexibly support the delivery of new enterprise solutions and services, as the organisation looks to shift to more software as a service solutions.
