Jahan Patel

Jahan is an analytical thinker with an academic background in politics, philosophy and economics. Through his studies and work experience he has built a diverse skillset in research, analysis, stakeholder engagement, project management, facilitation, strategy and governance.

• Embedded within a federal government department for ~18 months, supporting the identification, analysis and development of strategic national capability.
• Consulted to several national regulators, standing up new capabilities, and conducting reviews of existing processes and frameworks to improve effectiveness.
• Co-authored a review of strategic guidance within a federal government department. Several recommendations were provided as part of this review, all of which were accepted with intent to implement.
• Supported strategic re-alignment and re-prioritisation following the acquisition of a small-medium enterprise by an ASX listed entity.
• Facilitated an emerging technology symposium which brought academics, industry leaders and public servants together to explore the art of the possible.

Outside of work, Jahan is an avid cricket fan. He also enjoys putting his cooking skills to the test and hunting for the best banh mi in Canberra.
