Alycia Melder

Alycia has strong experience across federal policy and service delivery agencies. She has a deep understanding of how policy, service design and technology transformation intersect to achieve meaningful change.

Alycia has a strong ability to foster inclusive, high performing teams, and nurturing productive stakeholder relationships through her collaborative and engaging style.

• Co-designed the Health Future State strategy in alignment with Government strategic direction, leading a team to conduct detailed research and analysis of strategic government reform drivers, conduct stakeholder engagement and develop journey maps, cohort strategies, and concepts of operation.
• Conducted Health future investment research, scoping, and stakeholder engagement, which informed her development of costings, benefits, and business case materials.
• Led the development of a service delivery model, designing of a proof-of-concept use case for a large IT capability and collaboratively designing an end-to-end service design including business, customer, and technology components.
• Co-design of department wide service design service offering, including global research into better practice service design within Government and private sector, and the strategic ecosystem the potential service design capability would operate within.
• Business project delivery lead of a digital service offering for a complex and broad reaching senior government executive audience in response to the Royal Commission into the Bushfires of 2019/20.

Alycia is dedicated to continuous learning, and can be found teaching herself a new craft, reading, gardening, exploring the world through the eyes of her young twin boys, and barracking for the SydneySwans.
